Terms of Service

By creating an account, accessing, or using B-Legal (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

These Terms are a legal agreement between you and ACS Solutions (“B-Legal,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.

• Do not rely solely on B-Legal content to make legal decisions.
• Laws vary by jurisdiction and change over time. Content may not reflect the most recent legal developments.
• For matters involving potential criminal liability, significant financial consequences, or urgent legal deadlines, consult a licensed attorney in your jurisdiction.
• In an emergency, call 911 or contact emergency services. B-Legal is not an emergency service.

You must be at least 18 years old to use B-Legal. By using the Service, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age. If you are accessing B-Legal on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account at legal@blegalapp.com.
• You may not create accounts for others without their authorization.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

You agree not to:

• Use B-Legal for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure
• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access or extract content from the Service
• Reproduce, sell, or commercially redistribute B-Legal content without written permission
• Harass, abuse, or impersonate any person through the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
• Attempt to reverse-engineer or extract the source code of the Service

B-Legal may facilitate connections between users and licensed attorneys (“Attorneys”) through its consultation marketplace. Important limitations:

• B-Legal does not employ Attorneys and is not responsible for the quality, accuracy, or outcome of legal services provided by Attorneys.
• Engaging an Attorney through B-Legal creates an attorney-client relationship between you and the Attorney, not between you and B-Legal.
• B-Legal facilitates payment processing but does not hold client funds or provide escrow services for legal fees.
• You are responsible for verifying that any Attorney you engage is licensed in the relevant jurisdiction.

You retain ownership of content you upload to B-Legal (documents, case notes, etc.). By uploading content, you grant B-Legal a limited license to store, process, and display that content solely to provide the Service to you.

You represent that you have the right to upload any content you submit and that it does not violate any applicable law or third-party rights.

B-Legal's platform, brand, design, and original content (excluding User Content and AI-generated responses) are owned by ACS Solutions and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce or use B-Legal's intellectual property without written permission.

AI-generated responses are provided as informational content and do not constitute original copyrightable works owned by B-Legal.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE ERROR-FREE, UNINTERRUPTED, OR THAT AI-GENERATED CONTENT WILL BE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR CURRENT.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, B-LEGAL SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR LEGAL OUTCOMES, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATION OF CERTAIN WARRANTIES OR LIABILITY. IN SUCH JURISDICTIONS, OUR LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless B-Legal, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any applicable law or third-party rights.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be resolved by binding arbitration in New York County, New York, under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction.

You waive the right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration against B-Legal.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, with or without notice. You may delete your account at any time from your profile settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes where feasible. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
