Overview
Passing a stopped school bus with its red lights flashing and stop arm extended in either direction on an undivided highway. One of the most serious traffic violations in New York — high fines, 5 points, and mandatory DMV Driver Improvement Program for second offense. School bus cameras increasingly used for automated enforcement.
