How to Contest
- This is a criminal charge — consult an attorney before appearing
- Case is heard in Criminal Court, not TVB
- Challenge whether conduct rose to the legal standard of 'reckless' vs. merely careless
- Investigate whether speed, conditions, and circumstances support the charge
Common Defenses
- Conduct was careless, not reckless (lower standard — not a crime)
- Emergency situation or evasive maneuver
- Road conditions contributed
- No actual unreasonable danger created
