Overview
Parking in a space designated for people with disabilities without a valid NYC Parking Permit for People with Disabilities (PPPD). Also applies to using an expired or someone else's disability permit. Civil fines are steep — $180 for no permit, with mandatory DMV notification.

$180 (civil) + mandatory DMV assessment; $65+ for expired permit

How to Contest
- Contest at OATH with proof of valid disability permit in effect on the date
- Obtain documentation from the issuing agency if permit was in your vehicle
